Definitions
Resource development is the identification, attraction and expansion of those financial resources uniquely available to an organization. Smart resource development focuses on diversified sources with the goal of long-term sustainability. It creates the necessary systems, infrastructure, practices, competencies and culture to attract and sustain investment in the organization's work on an ongoing basis.
