Organizational Design and Development

  • Human Services Inc: Completed a comprehensive planning and positioning process that resulted in a significant reinvention of the organization towards outcomes and became a model for Denver based organizations.
  • Colorado Chautauqua Association: Completed a comprehensive organizational development plan, including strategic decisions for reinvention.
  • Alliance for Rio Grande Heritage: Completed an organizational analysis for this unique alliance of 12 organizations and 6 foundations.
  • The Bullitt Foundation: Completed an organizational assessment with specific recommendations for organizational development, including interviews with more than 75 grantees.
  • Island Conservation: Completed an organizational analysis and re-design for this ten-year old organization to enhance its ability to have global impact.
  • Scenic Hudson: Worked with senior management to create a more integrated team-based organization to enhance effectiveness.

Marketing and Public Relations

  • Village for Family and Children: Completed a branding and positioning analysis to direct fundraising and organizational development.
  • Wood River Rideshare:  Completed a social marketing project to increase use of alternative transportation in the region.
  • General Services Foundation: Completed a market analysis and report on emerging leadership in progressive cause organizations.
  • The Brainerd Foundation: Completed a market analysis and plan for engaging new constituencies. The report serves as a template for conservation organizations to reach and engage new markets.
  • American Museum of Natural History: Completed a full market analysis and plan for the distribution of biodiversity information throughout New York State.
  • Land Trust Alliance - Information Services Division: Completed a national market assessment and strategy to enhance revenue generation and maintain a leadership in a competitive market.
  • Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado: Completed a statewide marketing campaign to recruit 40,000 new volunteers.

Strategic Business Plans and Positioning

  • Recreation, Trails, Conservation Assistance, NPS: Completed a strategic plan with 100-person division of the National Park Service to define three areas of focus.
  • Riverkeeper: Completed a strategic plan to take organization to its next level.
  • The Better Business Bureau, Rocky Mountain Region: Completed a strategic analysis and set the strategic direction with the board and completed the plan, work plan, and marketing plan with the staff.
