Shelli Bischoff-Turner is the president and founder of two highly-successful consulting businesses that have served more than 460 satisfied clients. In her 30-year career, she has consulted with more than 1,000 organizations nationally and internationally. Her clients represent a wide range of disciplines and missions including conservation, public health, community sustainability, human services, and progressive causes. Shelli has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and positioning, nonprofit marketing, and organizational analysis and development.

Shelli designed the Integrated Strategy for Nonprofit Success and Sustainability. The Strategy is an evidence-based framework to take organizations to their next level. It has been used to create more potent, integrated, and constituent-centered organizations. In addition to her monograph on the Integrated Strategy, Shelli has published articles on fundraising, nonprofit marketing, and organizational development. As a highly sought after speaker and trainer, Shelli consistently receives the highest ratings for her energetic, engaging, and provocative sessions.

Prior to founding Nonprofit Impact and its sister company Conservation Impact, Shelli worked in federal and state agencies and nonprofit organizations. She started the Small Business Development Centers in Colorado, created a million-dollar training institute at a local community college, and directed a revenue-generating enterprise of a juvenile justice organization. Over the years, she has served on a diverse array of economic development, human services, and Latina organization board of directors.

Since 1988, she has been an adjunct professor at Regis University’s School of Professional Studies in the undergraduate business program and the master’s level nonprofit management program. In 2001, she received the Excellence in Teaching award. In 2004, she was invited to design and offer the first courses in nonprofit management and marketing at a New England college. Shelli holds a master’s degree in public administration.
