Christine Marquez

Christine Márquez brings 15 years experience and leadership in nonprofit management, strategic planning, organizational development consulting and training. She is well known as a dynamic presenter, strategic consultant and gifted facilitator. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish. With a strong background in nonprofit management, Christine is particularly interested in unifying boards or community coalitions around a clear vision for impact and helping them develop a concise but powerful plan to achieve that vision.
Before joining Nonprofit Impact, Christine was Director of Consulting and Capacity Building at a Colorado-based consulting firm where she developed and oversaw all consulting, training and facilitation services. Christine has served as lead consultant on numerous large-scale and long-term projects and worked with nearly 100 diverse organizations in human services, education, arts and employment fields. She brings extensive experience consulting with grassroots organizations and groups working in communities of color, particularly organizations serving the Latino community. Christine is a sought-after trainer on a variety of nonprofit topics and has presented at numerous local, regional and national conferences. Her career also includes working with two foundations as a program officer, researcher and capacity builder; as a program director with an organization serving Latina women and youth; and as a teacher in Costa Rica.
Christine graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in political science and an emphasis on international relations in Latin America. She obtained her Masters in Nonprofit Management at Regis University where she was also a Colorado Trust Fellow.
